CARNIVAL AT LANCASTER PARK. The Canterbury Public ftchools amateur athletic carnival was held at Lancaster Park to-day. The weather was very showery and this affected the attendance of the children somewhat. Over 3000 entries were received for the various events, and the* majority of those entered competed.
