The half-yearly meeting of the Canterbury Industrial Co-operative Society Ltd., was held on Saturday night Air Hiram Hunter in the chair. The rebort and balance-sheet, which showed the society to be in a good financial position, were received. Messrs Turton and Pearce were appointed auditors and an honorarium of £3 3 S was voted to each of the retiring auditors Thu committee were recommended to' make a presentation to the honorary secretary Mr Burrows. Votes of" thanks to the committee and the staff were passed.
