Tho Anglo-French proposal to solve tho Flume problem has been abandoned, as it is not satisfactory to either the Italian or tho Jugo-Slav delegations. Mr Lloyd George submitted a new scheme creating Fiumo a corpus separatum under Italian sovereignly, while tho League of Nations guarantees that the Jugoslavs shall have free use of .the harbour and the roilvrajs.
