A CONSIDERABLE SHORTAGE,
(Per Pkkss Association’.! mi ■* W ELLINGTON, January 15. : The Minister of Finance stated totoy that tho amo'unt raised for the Neu Zealand Victory- Loan had been increased to £8,802,000, while there are other considerable amounts to come in under the compulsory clauses. Even although these do . not make up the whole,- of the loan it i-c nevertheless ipuivautecd as perfectly safe.
