'■ All work, including tho shipment of wheat, for tho Imperial Government, is suspended. , . Tho policy of terrorism is spreading. Three more loyalists wero severely handled and tho liomeo of several others attacked. A hundred special constables have been sworn in. The Federal president of tho Returned Soldiers and Sailors’ League sent a message to members emphasising the necessity of abstaining from active participation in any industrial dispute, and calling on members to support constitutional authority and to maintain law and order.
