[From Our Correspondent.] FANCY DRESS BALL. Attention is drawn to advertisements in this issue announcing a fancy dress ball, to be held under the auspices of the, Heathcote Club, next Wednesday evening. I'A'l’R [OTIC COMMITTEE. It is some months since the Patriotic Committee held a reception to Heathcoto A'nlloy returned soldiers, and during that interval several more have reached the Dominion. A meeting of tiie committee will lie held soon, when arrangements will bn made to hold another welcome social. PERSONAL. Mrs it. Counal has received advice that her son, Sergeant Guy Connal, will roach New Zealand by the Tofua, which is due about June 2.
