The memorial service of thanksgiving held in Christ's College clnipel this morning was largelv attended by present boys, old hoy-, and friends of the school. Tim service «as conducted by the Rev A- Purehas. The organist, Mr A. .1. Morton, played *" West- are the Departed,'' irom Spohr's oratorio. " The Last Judgment," as the introdnctoiy voluntary, and Rossi's " Triumphal Mynin'' as the concluding voluntary. The congregation sang the hymn. '' Hrief Life is Here our Portion." and a special war hymn. " Lord Cod. Arise to lead forth Those who March to War." The Psalms chosen for the service were the I l(>th. L'iOtli and 1 Kith. Prayers were oiTercd for a.!! those connected with ihe college who had fallen, in the war, and MrC. E.
