The High Commissioner reports:— LONDON, September 15 (3.20 p.m.) A French official message from Salonika says On the left bank of the Yaidar the British violently attacked the Bulgars, who were supported by contingents of German infantry. The combat was to our advantage. Mal&ikovo was taken by assault, and also two points to the northward, where the British are solidly established. On the right of the Vardar the French captured enemy trenches on a front of 1500 metres to a depth of 80u metres. West of Ostrovo, where the Serbs opposed the Bulgars, the battle ended in a. brilliant success for the Serbs.
