MOTOR-CAR ACCIDENT.
Nurse Rankin, on alighting; irovn a Theatre car nit the Papanui Road, nt.'V HoUy Road, last night, crossed mi front of the car and was immediately i-juock-ed down by n. motorist. Nurse linivirri sustained injuries to her face and legs, and suffered greatly from fjhocic. She was conveyed by ambulance to the Hospital, where she is making slow pioAn eye-witness alleges that the motor-car was travelling; at a teiy high filled, and after the accidont appeared to get out of control, finally ruuning up on the footpath for come distance in front of the tram car.
