Ceiigne ran nino furlongs splendidly in Imin 57sec, and Mountain Knight covered a. similar distance easily in 2min 6sec. The Polo and Diavolo did strong sound work on tho tan, and Colonel Soult ran a mile ill lmin 42|sec. Housewife and Hue Victoria covered one mile and a quarter in 2min ISJsec, and Alasco beat Football over a similar journey run in 2min 17sec. Over the same distance Sir Ahvynton occupied 2min 13sec, St Spasia and Naravo 2min lGJsee, and St Carwynne. easily, 2min 18sec. Wallace Isinglass beat Crosska over a mile in lmin 44£ sec, and Moorak covered six furlongs easily in lmin 16sec, while Aleconmer and Aurata ran seven furlongs in lmin 28fsec. Badnor beat Falstaff in a gallop over one mile and a quarter, run on the tan in 2min 14J se?. j i
