CAB-DRIVER DIES. [Per. Phkss Association'.] FOXTON, November 17. Raymond Anderson, nineteen years of age, employed as a cab-driver, when driving passengers from the beach, complained of giddiness, and a passenger took the reins. Anderson arrived honia in a state of collapse, and died at 7.1/5 p.m. An inquest will be held this afternoon . FOUND DEAD. [Per Phkss Association.] WELLINGTON, November 17. The dead body of a young child, fully dressed, was found under a house at Eastbourne. The- owner of the house reported the case to the police. FATAL ACCIDENT AT PEEL, FOREST. On Friday afternoon George Hazeley Da vies, a jjroom in the employ of Mr Hawdon, of Peel Forest, left his employer's residence for the local post office to obtain the mails. He was Been riding along the road, and a fewminutes later was found lying unconscious, with the horse standing beside him. He was carried into the residence of Mrs H. Bull, and was attended by a medical man, but he died early on Saturday morning. It is surmised that the horse slued at something and fell with its rider. An inquest was held on Saturday, and a verdict of accidental death, caused by a fall from a horse, was returned. The deceased had been in Mr Hawdon's employ only about three weeks. He was a married man, thirty-three years of age, and he leaves a widow.
