A man was arrested in Lyttclt-on this afternoon on a charge of drunkenness, and also with having used'threatening language likely to cause a. breach of the peace. The Lyttelton Marine Band will play a programme of music, on .Victoria Square Rotunda to-morrow evening, commencing at eight o'clock. Amongst the numbers to be played will be the Invercargill contest selections. Nairn cco " (Verdi) and " l>s Huguenots " (Meyerbeer). The band, which is in good playing form, will leave for In-verca-ncjll on Saturday.
