Lord Curzon presented the Royal Geographical Society's special medals to the widows and mothers of the Scott party, and also to the members of the northern party. The Italian Ambassador presented the Italian Society's medals to the wives and mothers of the Scott party. Lord Curzon read Professor's David's greeting on behalf of himself and the Mawson expedition. Mr R. E. Priestly lectured on the northern party's experiences.
