THE JUDGES. - Tho following, ladies and gentleman have accepted positions as judges at the Rose Carnival to be held in the Domain on Saturday, November 22 :• Rose Show.—Messrs Tannock (Dunedin) and Rogers (amateur 1 and professional classes); steward -Mr Seed; Messrs Sinclair and M'Kenzie'"(Oamaru), ' (nurserymen's class); steward Mr Jay. . Sweet pea exhibition—Messrs J. Wyn ■', 'lrwin., and C. Durie; steward Mr;' Bridgeman. Ladies' table 'decoratiqna ' —-Mesdames W. D. Meares,- Carey Hill, and ; H. J. Beswick: steward'Mr Nairn. Best, decorated tradesman's turnout and dog-cart—Mr and Mrs Henry Holland. Best decorated parasol, pram and gocart—Mesdames Boyle, Beswick and: : J. J. Collins. Best decorated-fire engine —Mr E. Smith.. Best decorated motorcar, motor-cycle and cycle^—Dr W. H. Simpson and Messrs E. 'H. James and J. Sea-d-Gowing. Best decorated boat on the river Avon—Mr H. -Avers./
