THE ORINGI CAMP. [Per Press Association.] DANNEVIRKE, April 26. General Godley, who visited the Oringi camp yesterday, when asked this morning whether he had heard anything concerning the alleged man hunt at the encampment on Thursday, in which a reporter figured, said that ho knew nothing of the matter. The reporter in question is a Territorial officer ; who furnished the report to the Wellington "Post" concerning the attempted march to Dannevirke last Saturday night. As serious allegations are made regarding the conduct of the men on Thursday, General Godley says that he will have the matter thoroughly investigated.
