A policeman extinguished a fuse connected. with a bomb on the doorstep of Lloyd's Bank, Cardiff. It had a label with " Votes for women " on it.
EXTENSIVE PLOT DISCOVERED. (Received April 20, 12.10 p.m.) LONDON, April 25. The polico have been informed of suffragette plot-s to br.rn Harlow School, to blow up tho residence of Mr Blair, M.P., at Harrow Weald, and to kidnap a son of Mr Justice Lush, who sentenced Mrs Pankhurst. AN INTERRUPTED MEETING. Suffragettes attempting to hold a meeting at Tronbridgo were pelted with rotten oranges, eggs, rags, flour and garbage. RELEASED. Mrs Despard and two others, for obstructing Trafalgar Square, were released. Someone paid the fines.
