At the dinner of the London Ohamrber of Commerce, Sir John French said that an invasion of Britain, should not Ix 3 their -chief or only apprehension. Their attention should be fixed on perfecting the forces necessary to secure Imperial world-wide interests. The difficulty of British strategists lay in the multitude and complexity of the problems in the defence of a worldwide Empire, especially with an everchanging danger point.
