Sir, —With reference to your letter of this day's date, I have the honour to inform vou that the Saturday Half-Holiday has been in force in the Metropolitan District for three years, and it has given every satisfaction to both employers and employees. Wherever it has had a fair chance in the larger country centres it has also given satisfaction, and a proposal for a Saturday Half-Holiday for the whole State will probably be brought before Parliament in the coming session.
