Ali.egkd False Pretences.—Charles Johnstone, alias Edwards, alias Griffiths, was charged with having obtained board to 'the value of 245, by means of false pretences. On ■ the application of tho police tho accused was remanded until February C. Tiircrr.—Mary M'.Conagliey pleaded guilty to bavin" stolen goods to the value of 365. She was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence when called upon, the Magistrate stating that lie would give the accused another chance.

Judgment Summons.—Tn the. judgment summons case Joseph Nincl (Mr Bain) v. James Tong May, for the sum of £3 Gs 3(1, the doctor was ordered to pay the amount; forthwith, in.default seven days' imprisonment.
