CONSPIRACY IN SERVIA.

Reports nro rife that a conspiracy has boon fonnod among tho officers of tho Servian Army for the purpose of dethroning King Potor. Tho Foreign Office mid tlio Servian War Minister both deny omphnticnllv that there is any trutli in those reports.
A leading officer of the Servian Army, however, states that Sorvia wants a republic. Ho says that it is self-evident that tlio army ;m<l the nation are tired of a dynasty which tho (Jrent Powers only tolorato. It is thought that the talk of n republic is for tho purpose of arousing the people in support of those measures which the alleged conspirators are planning.
Two secret organisations are at work —tho "Black Hand" and the "Union or Denth." They are Sciid to include a majority'of officers of tho army, both high and low in rank, while tho Minister of War is said to be friendly. Well-informed newspapers declare that Kiiifi Peter is a mere puppet in tin- hiiixU <>t' the military party.
