BILLIARDS.
A meeting in connection with the Alcock crystalite am a tour championship of Christchurch was held in the Pioneer Club's rooms on Wednesday evening, a fair gathering ot club representatives being present. It was decided to play the competition in two sections. A and B, that games should be 300 up. to commence on Monday, at 7.45 p.m. The following are the draws for first and second rounds, together with club-rooms where games are to be played:
Monday, August 21.—Section Ar S. Evans v. A. Jnmes. Pioneer Olub; J. Martin v. J. Bradshaw, Christchurch Working Men's Club; W. Smith v. 6. Riggs, Merivale Football Club; A. Cameron, a bye. Section B : P. Harmnn v. R. Howarth, Linwood Football Club; A. Mallock v. D. Sandman, Christchurch Cycling Club; D. Twynham v. H. Shanks, Richmond Working Men's Club.
