Wheat.—The total quantities of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom amount to 2,880,000 Quarters, and for the Continent to 1,67~0,0C0 quarters. Atlantic shipments are 250,000 quarters. The total shipments to Europe this week are 880,000 quarters, including from the Argentine 50,000 quarters, from Russia. 265,000 quarters, from the Danubian provinces 70,000 quarters, from India 111,000 quarters, and from Australasia 20,000 quarters. Shares.— Quotations are:—Waihi Junction 26s lOd and 28s Id, Talisman 47s 6d and 50s 6d.

AUSTRALIAN WHI'JAT MARKET.

SYDNEY, August 15. Wheat.—There is a strong, active demand. Spot parcels are quoted at 3s Bd. The Millers' Association has raised the price of flour by 10s per ton, present price for best brands being £8 10s.

MELBOURNE, August 15. Advances in grain are reported similar to those in Sydney.
