AMUSEMENTS.

SYDENHAM PICTURES. The change of programme, at the Empire Picture .Hall 'attracted a good attendance last night, and a fine selection of films was shown. " Nantes and , its Surroundings" was an attractive scenic subject, tho charming scenery of the locality being presented in an effective manner. Dramatic films formed . an important section of the programme, the strongest of which was a series entitled "A Tragic Concealment." The balance of the programme included "Belisare." "The Foreman." "A Sin Unpardonable" and "Age versus Youth "'(dramatic), " Toronto," " Over Mountain Sledge" (scenic). "Lea and Tontolini among the Clouds," " Bill as a Jockey." "Jones at a Card Party," •■ Giles's First Visit to London" and "Masquerade Cop " (comic). The programme will be repeated to-night and on Friday. The management has secured the sole rights of a film (three thousand feet in length) entitled " Ben Hall; or, A Tale of the Australian Bush." This is announced for June 28. WEST-HAYWARD PICTURES. His Majesty's Theatre was well filled last evening," when the current week's programme of pictures was shown. " His Mother's Thanksgiving" and " A j Golden Supper" wore again the star I films in a clever and interesting proj gramme. Tho pictures will bo shown again this evening. OPERA HOUSE. With a very good programme of variety items Fuller's Vaudeville Company had no difficulty in attracting another large attendance to the Opera I House last evening, and the programme was again well received. The company I was very evenly balanced, and there . were no dull moments in tho performance. The programme will be repeated this evening. FULLER'S PICTURES. Fuller's Pictures drew another large and appreciative audience to the Colosseum last and the series was ■ full of interest, "bird Life" and "The Carrara Marble Quarry" were again the most papular firms in a well diversified programme. ' The pictures will be screened again this evening for j the last time, and to-morrow the semij weekly change of programme will be made.
