DIPLOMA DAY.

The Canterbury College students will hold, their animal Diploma Day procession to-morrow morning. The procession will leave the. Col lego at 10 a.m., and will proceed to Cathedral Square, where the Studens Rex will address his subjects, and various other interesting ceremonies will take place. The procession will then traverse the usual route through the principal streets of the city, finally coming to a rest in Cathedral Square again. The procession will inctudo many skits on matters of public interest. There will he several Rlunket nurses pushing stalwart babies in the well-known Plunket go-cart, while the Wholesale Club, the Coronation Contingent and many other interesting subjects will receive attention. The musical part of the, programme will not be missing, the Besses o' Ih' Barn Band making its reappearance for this day only, while the "Sheffield Choir" will be heard for the first time in the city. In the afternoon the presentation of diplomas will lake place, and addresses will be given by Pr Chilton (DeputyChancellor). Pr Evans (chairman of the Professorial Board) and Mr ,1. ('. Adams (chairman of the Board of Governors). Admission will be by ticket only, and ticket-holders are requested to be in their scats by 2.00 p.m., when the doors and gates of the College will he shut. The formal proceedings will commence at 3 p.m.
