The King's Overseas Dominions Regiment entertained the officers and many of the men of tho visiting Canadian Rifles at a banquet. Colonel Sir Henry Pellatt, commanding the Canadians, dwelt upou the useful lessons to be derived from tho visit. Sir Georgo Reid emphasised the need for preparedness and unity of action throughout tho Empire, always remembering that the Empire's mission was Deacc. Lord Strathcona said that the meeting of the British and Canadian, corps would serve to knit the peoples of the Empire in closer bonds.
