SUPREME COURT.

IN CHAMBERS. Saturday, Maech 5. (Before his Honor Mr Justice Sim.) In Chambers to-day, his Honor Mr Justice Sim granted probate of the wills of the following deceased persons: —Michael Needham (Mr Izard), G. Piper (Mr Hoban), A. C. Truscott (Mr Weston), and L. _Kirman (Mr Weston). Letters of administration were granted in the estate of T. J, Hannah (Mr Ritchie). A motion for commission by Mr Rhodes, in the estate of E. T. Rhodes, was referred to the Registrar for a report; and a motion bv Mr Ross, in re M. A. Rule, deceased, to make A. E. G. Rhodes excrrutor in place of J. B. Wilson, wns granted. ADD PERSONAL Mr G. W. Russell. M.P., has returned to Christchurch from a visit to the country. Mr Russell's health has considerably improved by the rest he has had. [Per Pnrss Association.] WELLINGTON, March 5. In the Supreme Court to-day, bet'oro the Chief-Justice, William Williams, a young man, for the theft of £72, tho funds of the Iron and Brass Moulders' Union, was sentenced to four months' imprisonment. Charles Brooks, aged nineteen years, was charged with breaking and entering a house at Hutt, and stealing £2 15s. It being his first offence, he was admitted to probation. Robert Yauston, aged eighteen years, was charged with having stolen two cows at Makuri. He was ordered to come up for sentence when called upon.
