TO-DAY'S RECITAL. This afternoon, Dr J. C. Bradshaw, the city organist, gave a recital in His Majesty's Theatre before a large and appreciative audience. Tli© programme was of a popular character, and the numbers met with a keenly' appreciative reception. Baoh's fantasia for tho organ in G M=;=r, and Dudley Buck's tone picture, "On the ooast," were especially attractive, while the introduction to the first act and " Flower Song" from "Faust" (Gounod) wore •scholarly numbers. " Elsa's Dream," from "Lohengrin" (Wagner), the "Andante con moto" from Schubert's "Unfinished Symphony," a gavotte from tho old French, and numbers by Morandi and Lemaro made up an attractive programme. Next Saturday, Dr Bradshaw will give a recital in commemoration of tho Chopin centenary, at which the famous funeral march, "Polonaise in A," and -jariations on 6>e Naational Anthem mil be played.
