The following prices were ruling for fruit and vegetables at to-day' 6 ©ales: — Apples, dessert 5s to 6s, cooking 3s to 4s; pears, Bergamote 4s, Thumbs 6s to 7s 6d; passion fruit, Auckland 4s per box ; peaches 3s to 4s per half box,. Teviot prime 2sd to 3d per lb ; lemons, Italian, scarce, 25s to 265,; pines, 12s per case; oranges 6s to 7s 6d: grapes, local 8d to Is : per lb ; plums 3s to 4a 3d per box ; tomatoes ljd to 2d per lb ; cucumbers 2s per quarter box ; peanuts 3.d ; onions, strings 4s 6d to 5s per cwt, lose 4s to 4s 6d, and picklers 4s to 6s; potatoes, in sacks 3s to ,4s per cwt.
