ORDINARY MEETING

The ordinary meeting, followed, the same members being present. The chairman reported that as the present meeting was only an emergency one no special remarks were necessary. A single tender from Miller's West Australian Hardwood Company, at £975 9s 6d, for the supply of jarrah sheathing for the No. 3 jetty, was received and was accepted. The Ellesmere Land Drainage Board wrote asking the Board to allow the engineer to inspect its Priestman dredge working near Tai Tapu, in order that he might suggest any improvements in the method of working. The permission was granted. Mr M. F. J. Wilson, .C.E., telegraphed .announcing that he would arrive in Chi'istchurch by the Warrimoo, due on Friday.
