Mr J. R. Scott, who has been in Christchurch for a few days, returned to Dunedin to-day. Messrs W. Milne and E. J. Ritchie went south by the second express today. Mr C. A. C. Hardy, M.H.R., returned to Rakaia to-day. Mr W. ■ Cunningham and Mr W. Coulsoh returned south to-day. Mr C. W. Tanner is in Christchurch. Mrs. Stevenson, of Melbourne, has arrived in Christchurch. Mr T. E. Tavlor, M.H.R., and Mr R. Duncan, Chief Inspector of Mactiinery, arrived from Wellington by the s.s. Mararoa this morning. ' Dr Fox left for. Dunedin by the s.s. MoJ-oia. to-day. -"^ . ■
