LICENSING COMMITTEES.
LYTTELTON. Th© quarterly meeting of the Lyttelton. District Licensing Committee was held at the Magistrate' 3 Court, Lyttelton, at noon to-day ; present — Messrs J. Richardson (in the chair), W. H. R. Dak^ S. W. Mitchell, J. S. Monck and Captain Willis. The police report on the licensed houses an the district was of a favourable character. The license of the Wfoeatsheaf Hotel, Teddington, was transferred from John Magnus to Patrick Macnamara, and thnt of the Heathcote Valley from Agnes Johnston to John Gough. The liceme of the Canterbury Hotel, Lyttelton, was conferred upon Mrs Sarah Brown, executrix of the late license*.
