ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
[Per PnE53 Association-.] AUCKLAND, August 30. Ruby Bell, aged eleven, the daughter of Mrs Elizabeth ' Bell, a resident of Mount ABden, "was drowned by falling into a cistern, the cover of which, had not been ■replaced after removal. In reaching for -a. .jar above the cistern the girl evidently fell into the water, which was Bfc deep. -The fatality was not di?cover.ed till the deceased aad been, missed- for some time.
