SUSPECTED INCENDIARISM.
[Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, August 29. A fire wea discovered in the kitchen o: tiie Manukau Hotel, on Saturday night. I; was speedily extinguished after <lamag« to tin* extent of about £30 had been done. Subsequently it was found that a quantity of inflammable wood, straw and clothing was banked against the back door. It is believed that thig pile was fired by an incandiary.
