WELLINGTON v. CANTERBURY. The annual interprovincial match between the representatives of Wellington and Canterbury will bt> played to-morrow afternoon, at Lancaster Park. Should the weather hold fine the ground will be in splendid order, and ai very fast game .may be expected. The success of the Wellington representatives against Auckland on Saturduy last i* generally considered to be proof of their ability to beat Cantertrtiry, and. they are strong favourites. Tliitee of the players chosen to make the tour on Behalf of the Wellington province will foe unable to reach Christchurch until to-morrow morning, and in their abieince the imanwger widl . not pitek the team. Mr F. T. Evajis will •referee in tho match.
