Mr J. Delaney. postmaster at Lytbelton, is on holiday leave. Me G. P. Smollbone, senior clerk in the Lyttelton office t is acting in his place. ( D-r Parkin arrived from Wellington by the s.s. Tarawera this morning. Among the passengers from Wellington by the s.s. Rotomahana this morning were the Revs Canon ELehards, F. A. Hare and W. C. Oliver. Captain, Post and the Wellington representative footballers. Mr John Prouse, the Wellington baritone singer, who has been touring in the United States and Canada, with Mdlle Dolores, has gone to England. A telegram from Wanganui states that Mr George Hutohison, formerly member of the House of Representatives for Waitotara, left to-day for Auckland, on his way to Johannesburg.
