LOCAL NOTES.
The work at the camp was continued to-day, according to routine. The men axe quickly getting into military ways, and parade in much better style than wh'cn they first reported themselves. It is impossible, , of course, for the drills to look very well until uniforms are obtained. At present the many shades of kharki blend with all patterns andi colours of civilian clothes, while many men drill without their ; coats. * . : One or two men have left camp; for various reasons. The 'horses in camp remain under the control of the Stock Department, and will probably do so for som© time. A number of people are continually attempting to get into til's camp to see friends, bub no one not provided with, a pass is admitted under any pretext.
