"The Latest Efforts of the Pro-Boers" was the subject of last night's Lyceum lecture by Mr W. W. Collins, who deplored the fact that the war in South Africa- was being unnecessarily prolonged by the "wickedly injudicious" utterances of praBoers in England. Special criticism was made on recent opinions expressed by . Mr Barclay, M.H.R. Mr Collins further slated that if the pro-Boer opinions were bassd on fact the nations of the world would interfere, whereas not a single nation had ever offered the Boers official material assistance.
