■ — — * CHRISTCHURCH. The adjourned annual meeting of the Chxistchurch Licensing Committee was held at the Magistrate's Court yesterday ; present — Messrs P. Trent, J. C. Maddisou, J.. Hamilttn, T. M'Ciatchie and S. S. Biackburne. In the absence of the Stipen.liary Magistrate, Mr Trent was elected i-ctiiig-chairman. The Inspector of Police reporled that new urinals at the Crown and Sandridge Hotels w«re in course of erection, and that no further objection would be made to the licenses being granted. ;The committee granted both licenses. Wholesale Uveiwas were granted to J. Shandand Co., Louis--* son Bros., Dalgety aid "Co., Limited, Warre, Hockley and Go., Limited, andBishop -and- Eobson. ,
