Caxnoroes, MJLR., and Mr A. Cohen to act aa the dub's delegates to the Racing Conference. A letter was received from Mr Sydney James, tendering his resignation aa secretary, owing to the state of his health. The resignation was accepted with regret, the committee expressing high appreciation of the services rendered by Mr . James ( to tihs qlab and racing generally. A sub-committee was ftp-pointed to make arrangements for some suitable recognition of .these servioes. .'. .'...' NEW ZEALAND TROTTING ASSOCIA- • TION. At the adjourned monthly meeting of the New Zealand Trotting Association, last night, the appeal against the disqualification of the ' horab Bellman, and hia driver, L. Robertson, for twelve months, at the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting- Club's meeting on May 26 (which had been held over for further considerition) was dismissed. The stake in the Limit Handicap, accordingly, goes to Prince Imperial, bat the money invested in the iotalisator on Belhnan will be returned to investors, and '<he dividend on Prince Imperial will be £13 &. A deputation froni the Canterbury Trotting Club inquired -the reason why the Club's programme for the August meeting, had not been approved. The deputation was informed tiat the decision on . the matter had been adjcurned to the present meeting. After discU9sion the following resolution was unanimously adopted: — "Seeing that the question of amalgamation of the Canterbury Trotting Club and New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club will probably be finally settled at . the Conference, the programme of the Canterbury Trotting Club for August be passed, condi- ' tionally on the Club obtaining a totalisator permit." The appeal entered on behalf of Premier against the decision of the stewards of ihe Tahuna Park Trotting. Club, in awarding the Dash Handicap stake to Scrutineer, was, after consideration of the fresh evidence submitted, again ' referred to the club for further consideration. A like course, for similar readozra, was followed in the appeal entered against the decision of the Tahuna Park stewards in the Doubtfnl-Kimberley case. An application for a refund of amount of appeal deposit was received on behalf of W. Grant, in connection with ithe HeroHaroldson case, sent forward from the Gore Club, but it was shown that the money had already been paid. A similar application from C. Edgar, in connection with a case submitted to the Association by the Otahuhu Trotting Club, was left in the hands of the executive. A grant of £2 2a was voted to G. Smith. After transacting routine business the ntfeeting adjourned^
