MEETLNGS OF SOCIETIES.

A meeting of the committee of the Post and Telegraph Athletic Club was held en Monday. The President, Mr R. Kirton, occupied the chair. It was decided to enter a team in the Tlmrsday competition. Mr W. A. Mansell was appointed delegate to the Thursday, Cricket Association. Messrs Treweek and Larcombs were elected Selection Committee for the first eleven, and Messrs Cox and Bourke for the second clsven. MrW. A. Mansell was electee! delegate to the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association. Messrs Larcombe, P. Young and Alexander were appointed Sports Committee, and the first instalment towards cost of prizes was voted.
