Two bookmakers were fined £100 each, and. their assistant £25, at Clerkenwell for keeping a betting house. Their profits for twelve months amounted to £12.320. NEW YORK, Sept. 18. The well-known thoroughbred stallion Iroquois died at Illinois recantly. ) (Iroquois was taken to England in 1881, I and won tho' Derby and St Leger in that year.)
