PIGS AND POULTRY.
Only two or three pens of pigs were yarded at Saturday's markets, the weather interfering considerably with the supply., Poultry came forward in fair numbers, and • there was rather a better demand than of late, Prices realised were:—Pigs.—Stores 27s and weaners 15s. Poultry.—Roosters 3s to 4s, pullets 3s 6d to 4s 6d, hens 3s to 3s 9d, ducks 4s 6d to ss, and geese 7s, all at per pair.
