Sir,—l wh&, to caJl the attention of lie Christchurch GSty Council to the disgraceful state-of the paafement on tiie north side of the South Belt, between Coltanbo Boad and Barbadoes Street. Bis bad enough for the travelling public by daylight, and by night it is absohitely dangerous considermg how well lighted that portion of the town is. I suppose the said Council will fc&e some step in the matter when, someone as seriously hurt. —I-am, etc., GLOW-WORM.
