The scores were: — East Christchnrch 46 and 52 (W. Steeds 19) ; Addington 44 (C. Hardingham 13) and 11 for three waeitets. For East Christchurch H. Gerard, seven wickets for 18 runs, and ■H. Suckling, five for 16, bowled best, andAnderson, five for 20, was the most successful 'bowler for Addington. A -mutch was played on Satraday between tke Linwood and Rivals Cricket Clubs, the former winning by five wickets. The scores were : -^Rivals 40 and .55 ; Linwood 68 and 31 for five wickets.
