Besides a large quantity of frozen meat and general cargo, the steamers Kakaia, Indragbiri and Banffshire loaded at the Bluff during the past -week nearly three-quarters of a million rabbits. With previous shipments close on two millions have been exported this season. ■' ' '
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, has received cable advice, under date London, Sept. 14, as follows: — '■ , • Tallow.— There is a rather better demand. New Zealand fine mutton and New Zealand good beef tallow is respectively worth 23s and 22s per cwt. (Last quotations were 22s 9d and 21s respectively.)
