ENTERTAINMENTS.

A v-ery successful concert was given inf the Oddfellows' Hall last evening in aid o the widow and family of "the late Mr , Richard Butler, who was accidentally killed at the Farnley Brick works. There ■was a crowded attendance, The following contributed to the programme : — ; Misses Murray, E. Goodie, M. M'Laughlin, E. Walker, Messrs Fox (2), J. E. Hanson, R. Halley, G. Rowland, D. Ryaif, W.' Davidson, P«tereon (2), H. Donnelly, J. Prisk and W. Barlow. The Christchurch Guitar Band played selections under Mr Post. Mr Eoseiter was musical conductor.
