Wednesday, Sbpt. 14. (Bofore Mr R. Beetham, S.M.) Civil Cases.— Jenkins v. Burke, claim £2 Bs, for arrears of rent and possession of premises. Defendant was ordered to vacate the premises within seven days. — H. Waks v. J. Bowden, olaim .£ls 14s, value of a hbrse> alleged to have been sold by plaitttiiff to defendant. Mr Nalder, for plaintiff, Mr Donnelly for defendant. Plaintiff alleged that he sold the horse to defendant for .£ls, and after some time the horse was returned by defendant, who said that it was not quiet. He denifld that the hor3e had been sold as a quiet one. Defendant contended that he bought the horse for .£ls as a quiet animal. It ran away with the milk cart. After hearing a quantity of evidence, judgment was given for defendant. I •
