Sax Francisco Mail.—The Mariposa, with the San Francisco mail, arrived at Auckland yesterday. The Mahinapua. with the southern portion of the mail, left Onehunga last night. The Pukaki, which will leave Wellington about midnight tonight, will bring the South Island bags to Lyttelton. b Theatre Roya i,.—The Inman Dramatic Company gave their last performance of A Yorkshire Lass at the Theatre Royal last evening. To-night the company, under arrangement with Miss Mvra Keinble will produce the farcical comedy Dr Bill, which was played liere by Miss Kemble's company on their last visit. Mr Inman, who was the originator of the part in Australia, will assume the role of Dr Brown, and Miss Appleton will sustain the part, played by Miss Kemble, of Mrs Horton. Mr Leonard, who played the part with Miss Kemble's company," will ao-ain take the character of Baggs. The piece can be staged for two nights only, as on New Year's Eve Held by the Enemy will be produced. i
