Wild Pig Hunting.— Threo young men from Eangiora, Messrs D. Blake, W. Patterson, and J. Thompson, went on a pig hunt for their Easter holidays en the White Eock, Hayland and Bircli Hill stations. Between Friday and Monday they succeeded in disposing of sixty-three, all well-grown pigs, and some of them very large specimens. The sportsmen also brought home fourteen pairs of fine tusks as trophies" of the hunt.
