Trades and Labour Council. — A wellattended meeting of the Canterbury Trades and Labour Council was held on Saturday. Letters were received from tho Progressive Liueral Association relative to the political platform, which has been adopted by the various organisations throughout New Zealand; and from Mr TV. TV. Collins, M.H.E., relative to the Eailway Employes Classification Bill. After disposing of some routine business, the meeting terminated..
